KEY INGREDIENTS
MARULA: is indeed Africa’s miracle oil. It’s part of the mango family and has a high nutritional value as well as moisturizing properties. Marula has an amazing ability to penetrate the cuticle and deposit much needed moisture. The high content of palmitic acid creates a protective coating which helps preserve hair color and prevent further breakage caused by everyday styling. The combination of antioxidants and oleic acid help maintain a youthful appearance in the condition of the hair.
BAOBAB: the “tree of life” is said to provide superb moisturizing benefits and sheen to the hair. It is one of the most beneficial trees in the village life due to its nutritional and medicinal values. Baobab helps slow down the aging process with antioxidants that are essential for protection against free radical and it is also an excellent ingredient used to sooth a variety of scalp conditions.
ABYSSINIAN: not only nourishes strands, but it gives a natural luster and shine to dull, damaged hair. Abyssinian also contains a heat-activated, protective barrier to help prevent moisture loss during styling.
COCONUT: coconut oil is a wonderful moisturizer for skin and hair. It has good amounts of the antioxidant vitamin E, which is very protective. The oil has a moisturizing effect and helps reduce protein loss when used on hair.
SUNFLOWER: the oil is packed with nutrients that leave hair soft, shiny and lustrous. The abundance of minerals, vitamins and fatty acids found in sunflower oil promotes hair health. It contains vitamins A, D, K and E. Sunflower oil also contains omega fatty acids which help prevent dryness and frizziness, making hair easier to manage.
GERANIUM: restores energy levels, the aroma has an uplifting and calming effect on the mind and body. It is wonderful as a hair care ingredient and is recommended for individuals suffering from frequent hair loss.
ROSEMARY: is used to stimulate hair follicles and hair growth. It’s used to strengthen hair roots, support follicles, eliminate dandruff, and clean the scalp and hair of impurities. Rosemary is believed to slow down or even permanently hold off premature hair loss and gray hair.
ROSEWOOD: this oil lifts your spirits and has a balancing effect on the mind and body. It’s effective in giving the scalp a boost by stimulating cell regeneration, therefore aiding in rejuvenating a healthy scalp.
BERGAMOT: one of the most nourishing and definitely one of the most exotic fragrances. Bergamot promotes healthy hair growth and helps maintain the scalps oil and pH balance. It can be applied on the scalp to revive the hair bulbs and encourage hair growth. Bergamot natural stimulants direct blood flow to the scalp, ensuring proper delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the hair follicles.
DIRECTIONS
WET HAIR: on towel dried hair mist 3-5 pumps evenly. Comb and style. For extremely dry hair, mist an additional 1 to 2 pumps.
DRY HAIR: ideal for short and/or thick hair. The Marula Cocktail can also be used on dry hair for an extra boost of shine and moisture. On short hair, spray 1 pump and work through hair to shape and style. For more control, spray 1-2 pumps into palm and rub hands together, starting at the ends and working through the hair.
FACE & BODY: on clean dry skin, before applying your favorite moisturizer, lightly mist face for added hydration. This can also be used as dry body oil. After showering or bathing, pat dry, lightly mist entire body, and massage into skin. Leaves skin supple, soft and irresistible.
